Hundreds of homes in Dumbarton have been left with no electricity after being hit by an early morning power cut.
People living in the G82 postcode area faced a blackout after Scottish Power discovered a fault shortly after 9am on Wednesday.
The energy provider says they hope to have energy supplies returned to the properties by lunchtime while engineers work on fixing the issue.
They wrote: "We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 9:28 am.
"Our engineers have arrived on site and will work to restore your electricity supply as quickly and as safely as possible. We expect your power to be restored by 12:30 pm."
People living on two Clydebank streets were also without electricity early on Wednesday.
