A BUSY Alexandria street has closed suddenly due to emergency works on a leaky mains pipe.
Napierston Road at the roundabout junction to Cables Drive could be shut to motorists for up to three days after Scottish Water received reports of the burst supply.
West Dunbartonshire Council say a diversion has been set up and has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
