DRIVERS are being warned that a stretch of a road in Dumbarton is set to close for five days.
West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) announced the closure on its website.
Bellsmyre Avenue will shut to traffic from the extended kerb line with Valeview Terrace on Sunday, March 10.
It is understood that this is to facilitate works being carried out in the area by Scottish Water.
The closure will be in place from 9.30am to 6pm each day. WDC notes that the restrictions may only be applied as and when signed and will be kept to a minimum.
Residents are being advised that local and pedestrian access will be maintained during this period.
Emergency service access will also be permitted.
A diversion route will be in place.
Diversion route:
- Bellsmyre Avenue to Valeview Terrace, and vice versa.
- Valeview Terrace, Howatshaws Road, Whiteford Avenue, Garshake Road, and Stirling Road.
