A popular parkland cafe has had its opening hours revised.
Earlier today, West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) announced that Pavillion Cafe, located within Levengrove Park, will not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The cafe will instead operate from Wednesday to Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
The local authority notes that these hours will be reviewed on April 15 after the school holidays.
It comes after we reported that the Pavillion had been temporarily saved from closure in February in the hopes of finding a new tenant.
The cafe will remain open until May whilst WDC seeks a new body to take over the lease of the building after it was agreed the area’s Health and Social Care Partnership (HSPC) would withdraw its management.
It was opened in 2019 as part of a £3.7 million regeneration of the Clydeside venue and has become a much-loved stop for park users such as joggers, cyclists and a mum-and-baby group.
