TWO men have been charged after an alleged break-in at a house in Alexandria.
Officers responded to the scene at around 12.30am on the morning of Thursday, March 7 after reports of an ongoing housebreaking in Bonhill.
Two men in their 30s were, reportedly, observed emerging from the property and were apprehended by cops after a brief foot chase.
Upon being arrested, the males were allegedly found to be in possession of items stolen from the address and also other items used in the commission of the crime.
A 38-year-old man has reportedly been charged with theft by housebreaking and possession of a knife, with a 30-year-old also facing the same charges.
Both men have been held in custody ahead of appearing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
