A school in West Dunbartonshire has completed a month-long 'virtual' trek of 1744.2km for Red Nose Day,
For the past month, Ardfern School pupils and staff have been simulating the journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats by walking, running, cycling or swimming, to raise life-changing funds for Red Nose Day.
The fundraising challenge has been integrated into the school curriculum into all lessons in some way.
Janis Logue, deputy head at Ardfern School, said: "Every single staff member and every single pupil has been involved, this really was a whole school event.
"Red Nose Day is pretty much taking over the school for a month.
"I've always loved Red Nose Day, I remember from my own school days what fun it can be and I think it gives kids such a feeling of pride to feel part of Red Nose Day as a whole".
Samir Patel, chief executive officer at Comic Relief, said: "Ardfern have completed their momentous journey across the UK and it’s amazing to see the whole school getting involved in this inspiring fundraiser.
"The money raised will help people going through the toughest times in their lives, here in the UK and around the world."
The funds raised will help to provide necessities and support for families affected by conflict and climate change.
Comic Relief is celebrating change-making fundraisers with The Nosey Awards.
