A woman has been arrested after an alleged theft at a food pantry in Renton.
Officers responded to the scene at Tontine Road after the alarm was raised at around 9.35pm on Tuesday, March 12.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the alleged theft as well as reported fraud and attacking an officer.
She has since been released and will appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.35 pm on March 12, police received a report of a theft from a property in Tontine Road.
"A 40-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with theft, fraud and police assault.
"She has been released on an undertaking and will appear in court at a later date."
