A blue Audi was seen at two robberies which took place on the same day.
A group of four men forced their way into a home on Bontine Avenue in Dumbarton at around 1.10pm on Sunday, March 17.
They stole a haul of items before fleeing in the plush motor.
A short time later, there was a break-in at Highdykes Hill in Bonhill.
Multiple items were also stolen and the Audi was again seen in the area.
Detectives are investigating both incidents and are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcams to get in touch if they have any footage of the robbers or the Audi.
Detective Constable Marty Davies from Clydebank CID said: “Enquiries are at a very early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular we would urge anyone in the area with private CCTV or dash-cams to please check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance, such as a vehicle driving off at speed.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 1867 of Sunday, March 17, 2024, for Bonhill and 3115 of Sunday, March 17, 2024, for Dumbarton.
"Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
