DRIVERS are being warned of an emergency road closure that could last up to three weeks.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced that repair work is being carried out on Ross & Aber Road in Gartocharn.
It is understood that this has resulted in a stretch of this road from the single-track before Ross Priory to the entrance with Ross Priory being shut.
According to the Scottish Road Commissioner's website work first began at the site on Wednesday, March 20.
It is being carried out by Scottish Water and is expected to last around 21 days.
Emergency vehicle, pedestrian, and local access will be maintained during this time.
However, it is noted that delays are to be expected.
A diversion route will be signposted from Old Military Road to Ross & Aber Road and vice versa.
