THE team at the Vale of Leven Fracture Clinic have cracked how to make Easter eggs-tra special for local children.
Kind-hearted staff collected a huge clutch of Easter eggs which they have donated to West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare.
The team includes staff nurse Anne McKinlay, charge nurse Brenda Lynn, healthcare support worker Lorna Proctor, senior charge nurse Joan McCluskey and domestic Cathy McDade.
Joan said: "It was all the staff’s idea and the eggs have gone to the food bank that serves the area around the hospital where they’ll distribute them locally.
"I’m really proud of the people I work with and what we do as a team."
The charity issued a certificate of thanks to the team for their donations.
Margaret O’Rourke, Vale of Leven clinical service manager, said: "This is another example of how the staff at the Vale of Leven truly are part of the community, going beyond just what their jobs are and thinking about the needs of the local community outside healthcare."
