A MANHUNT is underway after a 32-year-old was attacked at a park in Alexandria.
We previously reported that emergency services had responded to Christie Park at around 12.25pm on Friday, March 29 following reports of an assault.
Police confirmed the man had been taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital for treatment.
Now, officers have released a description of the suspect.
He is described as white, and around 5ft 11ins in height.
At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a grey top with a hood.
Detective Constable Jack Muir, of Clydebank CID, said: "Our enquiries are ongoing to trace this man and I am asking anyone who saw him or knows where he might be to get in touch.
“This assault happened when the park was likely busy so if you were in the area and can help with our investigation then please make contact with us.”
