A depute head teacher has retired after just under four decades in the profession.
Breedge Bean, who taught for 39 years, retired from her role as depute head teacher at Dalreoch Primary School last Thursday.
West Dunbartonshire Council paid tribute to Breedge on Facebook, writing: "Our depute head teacher from Dalreoch Campus Mrs Breege Bean retired on Thursday after teaching for almost 39 years!
"She plans to do a lot of volunteering work and enjoy time with her family.
From all of us at Dalreoch, we would like to say a huge thank you for all her time, dedication and love for all children and staff.
"We wish her a happy and healthy retirement."
