A DUMBARTON couple have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
Tony and Liz Ruine have been married for 50 years and marked the occasion with a party at the Abbotsford Hotel in Dumbarton.
Provost Douglas McAllister and depute provost John Millar attended the celebration on Saturday, March 30.
Tony and Liz were married at St Michael's Church in Dumbarton on Saturday, March 30, 1974.
The couple have three daughters, Saphy, Michelle and Lorraine. They also have five grandchildren, Amy, Meghan, Chloe, Cameron and Evie.
Both are now retired but previously held a variety of different jobs.
Liz worked in hotels in Blackpool, the Irn Bru factory in Glasgow, Presto in Dumbarton Town Centre and also as an out of school carer before retiring.
Tony worked in Skelley’s garage preparing cars for MOT, as well as helping build fastlane and latterly as a bricklayer.
