DRIVERS are being warned that a stretch of a busy road in Alexandria will close twice this month.
West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) announced the closures on its website.
Stirling Road (A813) from its kerb line with the Lionsgate Roundabout to its kerb line with Strathleven Drive shut to traffic at 7am on Monday, April 8.
This includes the access slip road from Levenside Road.
It is understood that restrictions will be in place for up to five days from this date (April 8) and then again for another five days from April 13.
This is to allow for resurfacing works.
During these periods emergency vehicle, pedestrian, and local access will be maintained.
A diversion route will be in place.

- Stirling Road (A813) to the A82 northbound to Lomond Road (A811) to Carrochan Road to Main Street and vice versa.
