UPDATE: ScotRail has confirmed that trains are running again between Dumbarton Central and Helensburgh.
COMMUTERS are being warned of ongoing disruption to rail services in Dumbarton.
ScotRail announced that it is currently unable to run trains between Dumbarton Central and Helensburgh.
This is due to a piece of tarpaulin being trapped in the overhead lines at Dalreoch.
The rail operator confirmed staff are expected on-site "shortly".
A statement posted to ScotRail's X [formerly Twitter] account reads: "We've been advised that there is a piece of tarpaulin trapped in the overhead lines in the Dalreoch area which means we're unable to run trains between Dumbarton Central and Helensburgh.
"Staff are expected on site shortly."
