Loch Lomond Shores will host the return of the Top Dog event this weekend, featuring all things pooch-friendly.
The free event returns on Saturday, May 4 at Loch Lomond Shores from 10am-4pm.
The day will include an eleven-category dog show and market stalls selling items from doggy fashion to pupcakes.
The shopping centre says it will also showcase the visitor attraction’s dog-friendly status with many stores allowing dogs inside.
Registration for the dog show is between 10am-12pm and entries will be taken at the first market stall on the boardwalk next to the Sweeneys Cruises Launch.
Categories for the dog show will include puppy, veteran, sporting, non-sporting, most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best condition, best mover, best rescue, best crossbreed, and an open category for all dogs.
The show will be judged by Deborah Flemming of Townhead Farm - a notable Crufts judge- and each winning entrant will get the winner's rosette and donated dog prize.
Audrey Calder, of Loch Lomond Shores, said: “This event is great fun and it’s a real treat to welcome such a range of gorgeous dogs to Loch Lomond Shores.
“Many of our stores including Sports Direct, Frasers, Catherine Kinloch and Hawkshead welcome well-behaved dogs in-store and Café Zest even has a dedicated dog-friendly area within their café so visitors can enjoy time indoors as well as outdoors with their pets.”
