A DRIVER'S vehicle has been seized after a trailer, which had a boat attached, broke off on the busy Dumbarton road.
Police stopped the van on the A82 on Tuesday, May 21, discovering that the driver also did not have insurance for the vehicle.
A conditional offer of six penalty points and a £300 fine was issued.
The van, trailer and boat were also seized in the process.
Writing on social media, Police Scotland said: "The driver of this van not only let his boat sail away on the A82 after his trailer broke, he also didn't have insurance for the van he was driving.
"All three seized and driver issued conditional offer of fixed penalty 6 penalty points and £300 fine."
