A FILM crew has been spotted at work on a street in Dumbarton today.
Staff were seen setting up equipment, believed to be for BBC crime drama Shetland, on Alexander Street, just off Bonhill Road.
Filming is currently underway across Scotland on the ninth series of the programme, which stars Ashley Jensen and Alison O'Donnell.
None of the actors were spotted on set.
The show previously filmed in Clydebank back in March after it was confirmed it had been recommissioned by the BBC for two new series.
Earlier series of Shetland were a dramatisation of author Ann Cleeves’s murder-mystery novels.
However, the last and latest are original six-part dramas based on the same characters as the books.
