A man has been arrested after an alleged attempted robbery at a shop.
Police say the incident took place on Main Street in Alexandria on Thursday, June 13, at around 3pm.
Following it, the force has said a 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court today (Monday, June 24).

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted robbery in Alexandria.
"The incident happened around 3.00pm on Thursday, June 13 2024 at a shop on Main Street Alexandria.
"The man is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, June 24, 2024."
