THE annual West Dunbartonshire Leisure Fun Run took place last weekend.
Over 500 children registered to take part – an event record – with entrants receiving a Fun Run t-shirt, race number and medal for participating.
The event was open to all primary-aged children, pre-schoolers and babies in buggies.
It begins just before the start of the Run Loch Lomond 10k and 5k races.

Prizes were awarded to the small, medium and large primary schools with the highest number of Fun Run participants based on school roll.
This year’s winners were Gartocharn, Christie Park and Balloch Primary Schools.
Staff and pupils from all three winning schools were presented with their Fun Run shields by CPR Commercial Director Laura Molloy and Yvonne Macdonald, Active Schools Coordinator for West Dunbartonshire Leisure.
