A ROAD in Dumbarton has reopened after firefighters battled a blaze in the area.
The A814 Glasgow Road was shut by cops from around 10pm last night after a fire broke out at the site of the former Dumbuck House Hotel.
It is the second time in under a month this has happened after emergency services were previously called to the scene on June 27.
Several fire engines were spotted on-site at 10pm last night.
Cops previously confirmed that no-one was injured and that there is no risk to the wider community.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The A814 Glasgow Road had re-opened following a report of a fire at a derelict building on Glasgow Road, Dumbarton.
"The fire was reported around 9pm on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
"There were no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
