The Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) is set to re-open the Vale of Leven Hospital tea bar.
The tea bar is expected to be open on August 12 from 10am until 4pm, Monday to Friday, with around 20 volunteers involved in operating it weekly.
Andy Roberts, retail support manager Scotland for RVS, said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to get the tea bar back up and running.
“We know that the tea bar has been missed and we did have our eye on it. Now we’re in a position to be able to take this on.
"Within days of putting up an advert on our website, offering people the opportunity to volunteer at the tea bar, we had a number of enquiries from people living in the area.
“It’s obvious that the local community are very connected to the hospital, so it’s no surprise that people were jumping at the chance to volunteer at the Vale.”

Margaret O’Rourke, the clinical services manager, added: "It’s wonderful news that RVS will be bringing back the tea bar.
"We’re looking forward to patients, visitors and staff making good use of it when it reopens."
