Train services are facing cancellation and alterations due to a lack of crew.

Trains running from Balloch to Airdrie have been heavily affected this morning.

Some services are being cancelled or not calling at several stations due to a shortage of train crew, according to ScotRail's website.

A temporary timetable has been in place since July 10, to limit the disruption caused by fewer drivers as industrial action takes place.

  • 9.09am Balloch to Airdrie.
  • 9.15am Airdrie to Balloch.
  • 10.38am Balloch to Airdrie.

Train services that have been altered are:

  • 10.44am Airdrie to Balloch service will be started from Dalmuir.
  • 12.13am Airdrie to Balloch service will be started from Anniesland.
