A local support group met with young cyclists who are on a journey of more than 1,000 miles to raise funds for multiple sclerosis (MS).
The 24-member team, known as Bike the UK for MS, is cycling 1,009 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End, averaging between 65 and 75 miles a day.
The Dumbarton and District MS Group met the team and arranged hospitality for them at The Rock bowling club.
The cyclists were welcomed by a great turnout of group members who shared experiences and stories about MS.
James Whateley, the UK programme director for Bike the UK for MS, said: "I have never seen so many happy faces.
"Our team of cyclists had a wonderful time chatting to Dumbarton MS Group and what a lovely buffet they provided for us, well done Dumbarton MS Group and thank you all for your hospitality."
Group members Colina and Eddie Bashford added: "What an amazing bunch of young people, each with their own story to tell, they are such an incredible group of young and inspiring people."
Bike the UK for MS combines cross-country cycling trips with raising funds for MS research and treatments in the UK and America.
They also volunteer for MS patients in the communities they pass through.
A portion of the funds they raise help complete projects that facilitate independent living for MS patients, such as ramps, stair lifts, and accessible bathrooms.
