Drivers are being warned of a road closure set to begin this week.

Whiteford Avenue in Dumbarton is to close for up to five days to allow for ironwork repairs to be carried out.

West Dunbartonshire announced the closure on their website.

The closure will commence on Thursday, August 29, and could last until Tuesday, September 3, excluding weekends.

The disruption will be in place on Whiteford Avenue from its junction with Stoneyflatt Avenue for a distance of 65 metres or thereby.
