A recycling centre in Old Kilpatrick is to remain closed this weekend after resurfacing works face delays due to bad weather.
The Erskine Ferry Road facility was supposed to reopen this weekend and close again on Monday to allow locals back into the site.
We previously reported that the centre would reopen over the weekend after being shut this week and it would close again on Monday, September 9 and Tuesday, September 10.
In an announcement on social media, West Dunbartonshire Council has said that heavy rain has impacted the essential work and the resurfacing will continue with the site due to fully reopen on Wednesday, September 11.
Residents are being advised that they can still use the Dalmoak Recycling Centre, however, van bookings will be suspended during this time at both this and the Erskine site until September 21.
The council have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
