A fault on a train line that runs through Dumbarton is affecting services today.
UPDATE: the fault has been fixed and services are working to return to normal.
An issue with the signalling system at Craigendoran is causing disruption on the Helensburgh Central line and the West Highland line.
Posting on X, Network Rail Scotland says engineers have been sent to the fault and they are currently on site to try and fix the issue.
The Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh train at 11.25am has been cancelled and the following services are set to be started from Dumbarton Central.
Meanwhile, the Edinburgh to Helensburgh Central train at 1.40pm has also been cancelled.
Disruption is estimated to last until around 1.30pm today (September 23).

Network Rail has apologised for the disruption to services.
