An elderly man is in hospital following a car accident.
999 crews responded to reports of a single-car collision on Renton Road at approximately 4.20pm on Tuesday, September 24.
A trauma team, special operations team and an ambulance were sent to the scene.
An 88-year-old was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley following the incident.
The vehicle was then recovered.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, we were called to a report of a one-car crash on Renton Road, Renton.
"Emergency services attended and an 88-year-old man was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
"Recovery was arranged."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 4.21pm on Tuesday, September 24 to attend a road traffic collision at Tontine, Renton.
"We dispatched one ambulance, one special operations response team (SORT), and one trauma team to the scene. One patient was transported to the Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
