A Dumbarton mum has set a new record by collecting nearly £200 worth of shopping in just 60 seconds.
Carrieann McKinley, a mum-of-two, filled her basket with an impressive 31 bags of sweets during a Snappy Shopper Store Dash in Glasgow.
She took part in the supermarket sweep-style challenge at One Stop Partick on Dumbarton Road with her friend, Sheena Duncanson.
The pair had one minute to grab as many items as they could, with Snappy Shopper covering the cost of both baskets.
Carrieann's basket alone was valued at £198, making her dash the highest basket total since Snappy Shopper's Store Dash conception.
She was nominated by her sister Sandra, who cheered her on.
In total, the two friends managed to collect £323 worth of goods.
Carrieann said: "I was thrilled to be chosen for the dash.
"My kids will be over the moon with all the treats I got, and my sister will have a good laugh about this for years to come."
Her haul included 31 bags of sweets and seven chocolate sharing tubs, which she plans to share with her 10 siblings and her children.
Nathalie Fullerton, owner of One Stop Partick who hosted the event, said: "A huge thank you to the Snappy Shopper team for choosing our store for this exciting dash.
"It was a fantastic way to give back to the local community that supports us, and we're delighted to have been part of such a fun and memorable experience for our customers.
"We're already looking forward to hosting more events and giveaways to show our appreciation to the community."
