A road is now shut in Dumbarton as part of a three-stage closure.
The route shut today [October 7] and the disruption will be in place from the access road with the junction on the A82 on Dumbarton Road to the NCN7 Cycle Path.
West Dunbartonshire Council confirmed the closure on their website.

Access to emergency vehicles, properties and for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained, although delays are to be expected.
The second stage begins on October 14 and is also set to last for five days.
Stage three commences on October 21 and is scheduled to last for the same amount of time.
