Children in Dumbarton will be made more visible this autumn with high-visibility vests.
This is part of the fifth annual Home Safe campaign run by Miller Homes, a Scottish homebuilder.
The initiative aims to enhance the safety of local children by providing high-vis vests to keep them visible during the darker months.
The campaign aligns with International Walk to School Month in October, focusing on making primary school children more visible as they walk, cycle or scoot to and from school.
Over the past five years, Home Safe has supported children across the west of Scotland by donating 8,000 vests.
Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said: "Our Home Safe initiative is very important to us, as it helps ensure children in our communities are as visible as possible during their walk to and from school.
"As the nights grow darker, road safety becomes even more crucial, especially during October when children are encouraged to walk to school.
"We’re excited to see families in Dumbarton take part this year and pick up their high-vis vests."
Families can collect vests from the Miller Homes sales centre at its Chapel Gardens development from Thursday to Monday, 10.30am to 5.30pm.
High-vis vests are available to all children aged four to 12 on a first-come, first-served basis.
