A road in Alexandria is set to close for up to five days next month.

Dalvait Road will be shut from Monday, November 4 to allow for a manhole to be replaced.

West Dunbartonshire Council confirmed the closure on their website.

The disruption will be in place from the junction with Granger Road and the junction with Levenhowe Road, for a distance of 60 metres or thereby.

Access for emergency vehicles, properties and for pedestrian through traffic will be maintained, although delays are to be expected.
