With Christmas fast approaching, schools across West Dunbartonshire are gearing up for the festive school holidays.
Over late December and early January, schools operated by the local authority are closed to give students and teachers a break before the start of the new semester.

When will schools in West Dunbartonshire break up for the Christmas holidays?
Schools across West Dunbartonshire will close on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 2.30pm. The holiday period will officially run from Monday, December 23, 2024 until Friday, January 3, 2025.
Students will return to class on Monday, January 6, 2025.
