The line between two train stations has been closed following an inspection of the safety of the track.
UPDATE: Engineers have reopened the line following the earlier closure. Services are attempting to restart and return to normal.
The track between Dumbarton Central and Dumbarton East has been closed after ScotRail announced an issue on the line.
Network Rail has confirmed specialist engineers are at the track and they are inspecting a possible defect on the line.
Disruption is expected to last until 12pm today.

Bus services are being arranged to travel between Balloch to Partick and Helensburgh Central to Dalmuir.
