A Balloch pub is set to offer free meals on Christmas Day for the third year running.

The Dog House is providing the service for those who are struggling or in need of some company during the holiday.

Laura McLaughlin, who works in the business, opened up on why owner Ozzy Koca is keen to keep the tradition going.

She said: "We are very much a family-orientated business so are always keen to help the community in any way we can.

"Some of the customers that we have in regularly are a bit older and might be on their own, so it is important to offer a place for them to socialise on Christmas Day.

"Ozzy is very aware of just how much the cost-of-living crisis is squeezing people and he just wants to offer a helping hand for those who are having a tough time.

"Our regulars have also been very kind over the last few years and we are just keen to give something back."
