The UK has plenty of beautiful walks with stunning scenery to offer, but how do you know which ones are suitable for your family?

To answer that question, footwear retailer Charles Clinkard put together a list of 40 family-friendly walks, suitable for the whole family to embark on.

They rating the walks using a number of factors including accessibility for prams and wheelchairs, parking and toilets, the distance of the walk and time it takes to walk it, additional activities and cost.

Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter:

Ecommerce director from Charles Clinkard, Rachel Clinkard, said: "Some of the country's favourite walks aren't necessarily family-friendly. Many are quite challenging, and others don't have all the relevant facilities such as toilets, baby changing, and accessible paths.

“For families with children, it can be difficult to know exactly which walks are best. That's why we put together our list of 40 family-friendly Great British walks.”
