I HAVE been reading Jackie Baillie's recent leaflet and comments in Reporter with growing dismay.
They are almost entirely negative in tone, consisting of one long rant against SNP policies and plans for Scotland's future.
The Scottish Government elections will take place in under 100 days.
Leaflets are already going through doors but all Jackie offers is endless photos and endless criticism.
Where are Labour's policies? Would they continue with the Council Tax freeze? How would they fund Higher Education? Jackie hasn't told us.
I strongly suspect that Scottish Labour still has not unveiled detailed policies because London has not yet told them what these are, so Jackie is in a bit of a spot and can only keep on smiling and vilifying the Scottish Government. Please Jackie, up your game a bit. There must surely be more to professional politics than smiling for the camera and knocking the opposition. Elspeth Crocket Alexandria
